NANCY BACKUS, MD
Internal Medicine
Dr. Nancy Backus attended the University of Georgia during undergraduate, receiving a degree in Cellular Biology. She then attended Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, graduating with an MD in 2012.

She completed her internship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, followed by internal medicine residency at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.
​
She practiced for three years as part of the teaching faculty at Memorial, but recognized a shortage of outpatient primary care providers in Savannah. She subspecializes in Addiction Medicine in addition to Internal Medicine.
WHITNEY ROBINSON
MA/Office guru
Whitney has been with Midtown Medicine since April 2021. She is a jack of all trades. She runs the front desk, back office and completes phlebotomy. She is very detail oriented and kind.
